A shooting occurred Wednesday night at around 8:00pm off Dublin Drive in the Springdale Community south of Hickory.
Investigators have released the name of the victim in the fatal shooting as Isaiah Johnson, 21 of Shelby. It is reported that Johnson was visiting his younger teenage brother, when the teen shot Johnson inside a car outside the residence.
The Catawba County Sheriff’s office is still investigating the incident. Details are limited. No charges have been filed at this time..
