A Burke County man has been charged with multiple felonies in connection with the sexual exploitation of a minor.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a joint investigation that pertained to the production and distribution of child pornography. As the result of the investigation, Zebulon Robert Lingafelt of Valdese was arrested and charged with Felony First Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Felony Statutory Sexual Offense with a Child by an Adult and Felony Indecent Liberties with a Minor. Lingafelt was taken into custody without incident and issued a $25,000 secured bond.
