Newton, N.C. – On Monday, February 26th 2024 investigators with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Cordia Circle. During that search investigators located and seized 33.49 grams of fentanyl, 2.1 grams of methamphetamine and $1,815 in United States currency. This enforcement action also resulted in three arrests.
Sara Alexandra Winters,26, has been charged with Trafficking a Schedule II Controlled Substance. Winters received a $25,000.00 secured bond and had a first appearance in Catawba County District Court on 02/27/2024. Winters, a Newton resident, was also served with an outstanding Order for Arrest for Felony Probation Violation.
Natalie Nicole Davis,37, was arrested and served with two outstanding Felony Probation Violations.
Davis, a Maiden resident, received a $15,000.00 secured bond and had a first appearance in Catawba County District Court on 02/27/2024.
Ryan Rudy Elledge,30, was arrested and served with an outstanding Federal Narcotics Indictment and five outstanding Orders for Arrest. The outstanding Orders for Arrest were for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and three driving offenses. Elledge, a Sherrills Ford resident, is being held with no bond and had a first appearance in Catawba County District Court on 02/27/2024.
