Hildebran – On Sunday, March 10, at approximately midnight, the NC State Highway Patrol responded to and investigated a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in Burke County on George Hildebran School Road near Wilkies Grove Church Road.
The Highway Patrol is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the pedestrian. The pedestrian is an Asian male, approximately 25-40 years of age, 5’ 5’’ – 5’ 8” tall, approximately 170 pounds, wearing a charcoal-colored long-sleeve shirt and dark-colored pants. He was walking eastbound in the roadway with a medium-sized, black, pit bull-style dog and carrying a .22 Long Rifle. Anyone who has information regarding the man’s identity should contact the Highway Patrol at 828-466-5500. The investigation is ongoing.
