Police arrest Lenoir couple, recover $12,000 in stolen property

LENOIR — The Lenoir Police Department arrested David Randal Lackey and Crystal Dawn Olsen as a part of a joint investigation with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office that resulted in $12,000 of stolen property being recovered from the couples’ Lenoir residence, according to a press release by the Lenoir Police Department. The investigation has covered five incidences of breaking and entering in Lenoir and one in Caldwell County.

Lackey was arrested on Friday, April 12 at the residence following the execution of a search warrant which revealed the stolen property and two firearms, which were recovered. Lackey was arrested without incident and is charged with breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking and/or entering, possession of stolen property, two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon and being a habitual felon. His first court appearance was on Monday, April 15.

Olsen, engaged to Lackey according to their Facebook pages, was arrested on April 16 and is charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon. Her first court appearance was April 17.
