An 11 year old boy was the victim of a gunshot Friday night in Catawba County. Catawba County Sheriff’s Office confirms that the shooting occurred on Finger Bridge Road south of Hickory. The boy was airlifted to an area hospital but information regarding his condition has still not been released. The investigation is still ongoing and officials have not released any information surrounding the circumstances of the shooting.
