Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office reports that a man who was wanted for probation violation was taken into custody by the Hickory Police Department over the weekend.
Mark Travis Waters 56 Of Lenoir was being sought on an outstanding warrant for parole violation. Waters, who was considered armed and dangerous, was found guilty in the second degree for the 2005 murder of his mother Emma Waters.
No other information regarding his capture has been made available at the time of this report
Records indicate that Waters is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center.
