A Burke County Home was destroyed by fire on Saturday morning.
According to Burke County Interim Fire Marshall Robert Bishop the house that was located on Wortman Street in Connelly Springs was a total loss.
Fortunately none of the four occupants, that included two children, were injured.
The Burke County Fire Marshall’s Office is investing the incident. The cause of the fire is yet unknown.
