In the wake of Tropical Storm Helene, the North Carolina Disaster Case Management Program (NC-DCM) is available to guide survivors through the recovery process. Case managers are available to:
-
Assist with recovery plans.
-
Find available resources.
-
Work through challenges caused by the storm.
NC-DCM assists individuals with unmet needs due to Tropical Storm Helene and who either live in one of the 39 disaster-impacted counties or are members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. People can get help from the program even if they have not applied for FEMA assistance.
To get started, complete the NC-DCM survey found at https://rebuildnc.tfaforms.net/4815522 or call 844-746-2326. For more information, visit https://www.ncdps.gov/helene/dcm.
