On February 24, 2025, an individual on the Burke County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List, Eric Harlan Queen was apprehended by the Burke County Sheriff’s Office. Queen, who had previously fled from Law Enforcement attempts at apprehension, has been on the Burke County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List for 17 days for multiple felony warrants, including, but not limited to, two counts of Breaking/Entering a Place of Worship and Larceny. Queen was arrested without incident after multiple complaints and/or tips from the community about his whereabouts. Queen was place in the Burke County Detention Center under a $21,000 secure bond.
