US Forest Service: Elevated fire danger continues through Wednesday

An elevated fire danger continues through Wednesday, with gusting winds and low humidity levels ahead of the incoming storms. Forecasted precipitation and higher humidity levels are expected to moderate fire behavior later in the week. Officials urge the public to avoid outdoor burning as careless debris burning remains the leading cause of wildfires.
