Granite Falls unveils new splash pad at William B Shuford Recreation Center and first annual “Splash Bash”

CENTER WITH GRAND OPENING AND FIRST ANNUAL SPLASH BASH

GRANITE FALLS, NORTH CAROLINA – Get ready to make a splash! The Town of Granite Falls is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its brand-new splash pad, made possible in part by a grant from the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF).

The celebration begins on May 2nd with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m., followed by the official public opening of the splash pad at 10:00 a.m. The
real fun kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with the launch of the first annual Splash Bash. The Splash Bash is an exciting, family-friendly festival packed with music, games, food, and entertainment for all ages.

Enjoy the ultimate throwback with Cassette Rewind, an energetic 80s band playing all your favorite hits
from the decade.
