The City of Lenoir is hosting a community meeting next week to introduce the East Harper Avenue Streetscape Project. City staff are working on a plan to install a new streetscape on Harper Avenue from Morganton Boulevard to Ridge Street.
The meeting will be Monday, June 16, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and the American Trade and Loan. The business is located at 532 Harper Ave.
Contractors working for the City will explain the streetscape project and the timeline for improvements. The primary goals are to improve the streetscape and beautification along Harper Avenue and to make safety improvements.
The public is invited to attend the community meeting.
