Lenoir man arrested on Human Trafficking of a Juvenile charges

(CALDWELL COUNTY, NC) – The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has announced the arrest of 50 year old David Kevin Hamilton of Rocky Road in Lenoir, on charges of Human Trafficking involving a juvenile. Hamilton faces one felony count of Human Trafficking of a Juvenile and one felony count of Promoting Prostitution of a Juvenile. He voluntarily turned himself in at the Caldwell County Detention Center Wednesday night and is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the SBI’s Human Trafficking Unit, with the possibility of additional charges being filed. The SBI is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying any additional victims.
