On Monday June 16, 2025, at approximately 12:00 PM, the Alexander County 911 Center received a call reporting a breaking and entering on Pop Davis Rd.
Officers arrived on the scene and after an investigation arrested 29 year old Dustin Shane Jenkins of Taylorsville, and 32 year old Tiffany Danielle Rector of Taylorsville. Jenkins was charged with one count of Misdemeanor Breaking and Entering and one count of Felony Possession of Methamphetamine. Jenkins has a first District Court appearance on Monday June 23rd, 2025.
Rector was charged with one count of Misdemeanor Breaking and Entering, one count of Possession of Methamphetamine on jail premises, and one count of Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Rector was also charged with warrants from a 2024 case, one count of Trafficking Methamphetamine and one count of Maintain vehicle/ dwelling for controlled substance. Rector has a first District Court appearance on July 21st, 2025.
Later Monday afternoon, at approximately 2:30 PM, authorities received a call reporting a breaking and entering at the same location on Pop Davis Rd.
Officers arrived on the scene and after an investigation arrested 31 year old Kirston Smith of Taylorville, 30 year old Amanda Daniel of Taylorville , and 40 year old Robert Britting of Taylorsville.
Smith, Daniel, and Britting were each charged with one count of Felony Breaking Entering and Larceny, and given a first District Court date on June 23rd.
No further details have been available Pop Davis Road location and the connection to the suspects.
