After a rain delay for the first scheduled Rotary Golf Tournament, the event was held with great success on Friday June 20. The Tourney was held for the benefit of Polio eradication, Alzheimers Research and local school Scholarships. P.A.R.S. The tourney also honors the memory of notable Caldwell Citizens, Ken Ferguson and H.Kelly Parsons. The Tournament raised over $30,000 dollars.
First place went to the team of Shawn Fox, Ashton Fox, Christian Fox and Josh Fox. Second place went to the team of Kenvian Helton, Tara Smith, Colton Tucker and Tanner Tucker.
The event was sponsored by the Caldwell & Lenoir Rotary Clubs at Cedar Rock Country Club.
