The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office has made a second arrest in connection to a series of breaking and entering incidents in the Ellendale Community.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, deputies arrested 24 year old Dustin Will Watson of Taylorsville, on July 7, 2025.
Watson has been charged with the following offenses:
Four counts of felony breaking and entering
Two counts of larceny after breaking and entering
One count of larceny of a motor vehicle
One count of injury to personal property
Watson is currently being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a No Bond. His first appearance in Alexander County District Court is scheduled for July 14, 2025.
Watsons arrest comes after officials announced last week the arrest of 54 year old Charles Vincent Packer Jr. of Taylorsville. Packer, who was charged with the same offences as Watson, was give a $110,000 secured bond, but remains in the custody of the Alexander Detention Center.
