The Jump Street Drive Music Festival is this Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Lenoir! Come enjoy free music by artists performing Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Soul.
The festival starts at 6:00 pm and will be held on the outdoor field at the MLK Jr. Center. Bring a chair and umbrella to stay cool and comfortable. If it rains, staff will move the festival inside to the gym.
Dante Lewis, Rosa Russ, 5th and York, Groove Masters will be playing Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Soul. Cajun fare, hotdogs, and snacks will be available to buy and enjoy.
The Jump Street Drive Music Festival is held on the fourth Saturday in July. The event honors Lenoir’s own Jump Street Drive Band, and is a celebration of Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Soul music.
In 2022, Mayor Joe Gibbons proclaimed that every fourth Saturday in July will be Jump Street Drive Band Day at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center. The full resolution is below.
