Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute announced that The Brandon Eugene Church Legacy Foundation has presented a $20,000 contribution to the CCC&TI Culinary Arts program. The check was presented to CCC&TI President and other college leaders at Big B’s Third Annual Golf Tournament held recently at Lake Hickory Country Club. The donation will support CCC&TI’s Culinary Arts program and students.
CCC&TI President, Dr. Mark Poarch, commented on the gift and expressed his thanks to the Foundation for their support. “I want to extend our gratitude for the opportunity to be partnered with this organization and the great mission it serves,” said Poarch. “Thank you for your generosity to our institution, our students and the Culinary Arts program.”
Culinary Arts Program Director Chef Corey Hooks also expressed his gratitude to the Foundation for the contribution. “I’m confident we will do justice in serving Brandon’s legacy and name in the culinary field,” said Hooks. “We look forward to continuing this partnership and to serving Brandon’s legacy through this investment in our program and local students.”
