Contractors working on the Ridge Street Sewer Extension plan to close sections of Harper Avenue and Norwood Street in Downtown Lenoir Monday, Nov. 3, through Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025.
Please note the following closures and traffic changes between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily:
No through traffic will be allowed on Harper Avenue between Mulberry Street and Norwood Street. Norwood Street will also be closed to through traffic from College Avenue to Harper Avenue. Traffic entering the downtown area on Harper Avenue will only be allowed to turn right onto Ridge Street. No left turns will be permitted at Harper Avenue and Norwood Street.Please plan ahead and use alternate routes if possible. We appreciate your patience as crews work to complete these important infrastructure improvements.
