On Monday more arrests and charges were filed in the November 4th death of a 4 year old child in Hudson. Hudson Police Chief Brandon Nelson issued a press release stating that the investigation into the incident determined that Thomas Lee Bryant was asked to care for the child by the child’s mother, Danaysha Alexandra Booker, despite Bryant being under a court order prohibiting any contact with the child.
It was also determined that Booker provided false information to investigators in an effort to conceal the circumstances of who was caring for the child and these actions contributed to a delay in the child receiving treatment.
On Monday (November 10th) Booker was arrested and charged with Felony Child Abuse. She is currently being held in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $1,000,000 bond.
Bryant, who was originally charged with Felony Child Abuse, has now been charged with murder and is being held in the Caldwell County Detention Center without bond.
