Hudson man charged for wire theft in Rowan County

A Hudson resident was arrested for allegedly stealing $2,000 worth of copper wire from a home in Rowan County.

Dylan Tyler Hare, 27, was charged by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office after allegedly breaking into a rental property on Middle Brook Drive in Rockwell on Dec. 16.

After entering the property, he allegedly stole $2,000 worth of copper wire belonging to the owner of the residence, Emare Croston, Jr., according to a warrant.

Hare was arrested on Sunday by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held on a $30,000 secured bond.
