HICKORY – On Wednesday, Jan. 7, the traffic signal at the intersection of Tate Boulevard SE and McDonald Parkway SE will be undergoing repairs. During this time, the traffic signal will be powered off, and flaggers will be directing traffic. The closure will start at 8 a.m. and should be finished by 3:30 p.m. Drivers are asked to avoid the area or choose an alternate route if possible. If travel through the intersection is necessary, please slow down and exercise caution so crews can return home safely.
