The Wise and Otherwise Book Club will host a special viewing of the documentary “Dulatown”, Thursday February 19th at 1pm at The Caldwell Heritage Museum, 112 Vaiden St, Lenoir.
This documentary short is about the Dulatown community in Caldwell County, established from the land of slave owner Alfred Dula, and bequeathed to his slave Harriet and their eight children.
Following the 30 minute movie there will be a Q&A with ASU professor Dr. Beth Davison and author and descendant Dr. Leslie Dula Mckesson.
