NORTH CAROLINA, USA — Law enforcement agencies across North Carolina will increase patrols and set up checkpoints this week as part of the “Speed a Little. Lose a Lot” campaign aimed at cracking down on speeding drivers.
From Monday through April 5, officers will conduct enhanced speed enforcement efforts to identify and stop drivers exceeding the speed limit.
The campaign, coordinated by the North Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Program along with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and local agencies, will also include public outreach reminding drivers that speeding is dangerous and illegal.
