The City of Morganton will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers (305 E. Union St Ste A100, Morganton) to gather community input for its upcoming Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications. These grants can fund projects such as neighborhood revitalization, economic development, infrastructure, housing, demolition of unsafe public buildings, and disaster recovery efforts related to Hurricane Helene.
All projects must primarily benefit low- and moderate-income residents. The meeting is open to everyone, and the room is accessible.
