A suspect wanted for a Hickory murder last Thursday has turned himself in on Sunday.
22-year-old Jalen Jakee Witherspoon is charged with first-degree murder. Witherspoon is alleged to have killed Andres Osvaldo Moscotte last Thursday night at a home on 22nd St. NE. Police believe the motive was robbery. A woman who was at the home at the time said the suspect wore a mask covering his mouth and nose and also took a Mercedes Benz from the home which was found wrecked a short time later.
