Drivers in Granite Falls are being asked to exercise caution and patience as The NC Department of Transportation continues to make improvements around the Duke Street and US 321 A area. That intersection is now closed and motorists will have to use a new traffic pattern which includes a round about. The project started in 2017 and this is the final phase. Work should continue in the area for the next coupe of weeks.
