The first shipments of the Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine are scheduled to arrive today. 11 hospitals in North Carolina will receive early shipments due to ultra cold storage space available, those include Caldwell Memorial Hospital and Catawba Valley Medical Center. Current hospitalizations in the region include 89 in Catawba County, 35 in Caldwell County and 15 in Burke County.
