A man is dead after a shooting in Catawba County. Jordan Olajuwon Ramseur 34, was identified as the deceased after the Caldwell County Sheriffs responded to a fight at the Stump Event Center in the Mountain View area of Hickory. A second person was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. That name was not released. No charges have been filed as the incident is under investigation. The State Bureau of Investigation is assisting.
