A Lenoir man has been indicted on mail fraud, money laundering and false tax return charges. Richard Allen Clark 55, could face a maximum of 30 years in prison and a $1 million dollar fine for each of the 5 federal charges of mail fraud affecting a financial institution among lengthy jail terms and fines for the other charges. The original state charged embezzlement case was from 2019 and involved his employer, Buffalo Creek Nursery and Robert M Gragg and Sons Nursery. Clark worked there from 2013-2019.
