A home was destroyed by fire in Burke County. The Morganton Department of Public Safety responded to a home on Hopewell Rd. The fire is believed to have started in a bedroom by accident, but an arson investigator is looking into the case. The fire was under control within about 15 minutes of the call at 1040am, Thursday.
