A suspected bank robber has died after a crash in Eastern North Carolina. 60 year old Thomas Ketelson of Conover died following a chase on I-95 in Nash county. The wreck occurred on Friday. He was a suspect in a bank robbery in Conover last week and was connected to several other robberies. His vehicle hit a tree after officers maneuvered to stop him. CPR was administered at the scene, but was unsuccessful.
