Vehicle larceny charges were brought against a Hickory man. 36 year old Joseph Randy Lee Sheffield was arrested by Catawba County officers. He also faces possession of a stolen motor vehicle charge. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $9,500 bond. Court dates are set for Thursday April 7th and April 26th.
Bond was set at $30,000 in Catawba County. 19 year old Ian Timothy Bass faces multiple charges including heroin possession and speeding to elude arrest among other charges. A court date is set for Monday.
