An investigation by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO) led to the seizure of over $600,000 worth of THC-containing products. The discovery was made after ICSO narcotics investigators received a tip about a suspicious package found at a local package handling facility. The package, which contained a significant amount of THC products, was addressed to a location in western Iredell County. Upon arrival, a K-9 officer named Connie was called to the scene and was able to detect the presence of illegal narcotics. A search of the package revealed 240 grams of THC Vape Pens, 2,495 grams of THC or Butane Hash Oil sheets, and 3,722 grams of Butane Hash Oil, for a total of 6,457 grams of THC-containing products seized. Sheriff Darren Campbell stated that despite additional interviews conducted by investigators, the intended recipient of the illegal drugs remains unidentified due to the use of fictitious information on the package. The investigation is ongoing.
