On Thursday, March 23, a school bus traveling north on Johnson Bridge Road in Burke County collided with a tree near Paige Street. Five children and two adults were present on the bus during the accident, and they all complained of injuries, requiring evaluation by EMS. The school bus driver failed to maintain lane control and was cited. Although the victims were injured, none of them were taken to the hospital.
