Javis Black, 22, was arrested in West Virginia on March 28 in connection with the murder of Zion Wilder and the attempted murder of a critically injured juvenile. Two other suspects, Dakota Michael Duke and Tevin D. Seymore, were previously arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including murder and attempted murder. The incident occurred on March 15 when suspects fired multiple rounds into a residence on Goldsboro Avenue in Statesville, killing Wilder and injuring a 15-year-old male.
