Zachary Aaron Roach was arrested on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including possession of a firearm by a felon, first-degree burglary, and possession of cocaine. He broke into a Morganton residence, killed the homeowner’s dog, and threatened the occupants. Roach was initially arrested during a traffic stop, where cocaine was found, and released on a $23,500 bond. After bonding out, he was arrested again during another traffic stop when authorities found a pistol holster; a subsequent search of his home yielded 10 firearms. Roach is currently in jail with a $50,000 secured bond pending an April 20th court date.
