Police in Hickory report arresting a Morganton man on drug charges. Reports state that 39-year-old James Drew Ballard was taken into custody last week and charged with felony possession with intent to sell a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor failure to report an accident. Ballard was jailed under a $14,500 bond.
