According to a report on WSOC-TV, a cyclist was airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a car early Saturday morning on Airport Rhodhiss Road in Burke County. The two cyclists were struck from behind. Investigators are searching for a suspect in a black older-model Ford sedan with front-end damage.
