Additional charges were filed this week against 41-year-old Aaron Mirtsching of Morganton. The former youth pastor and kindergarten teacher is facing two additional counts of indecent liberties with a minor. He was issued an additional $150,000 secured bond with a court date set for today.
That brings the total number of counts of exploitation of a minor to 15 for the former employee of Thrive Church and New Dimensions Charter School. The investigation is ongoing, according to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office
