The Western Piedmont Transit Authority’s Greenway Public Transportation will be offering a new micro transit service route in Lenoir and Hudson beginning today August 5th.
The service will be available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at a cost of $2.50 per boarding and will be making stops at many of the popular locations in the county. Greenway Public Transportation provides around 250,000 boardings each year to residents living in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties, with the stated goal of delivering safe, convenient and more environmentally efficient transportation solutions.
