Deputies are continuing to attempt to locate a suspect wanted in connection with a
shooting that occurred in Mtn View. This shooting occurred at a residence in the 3800 block of Hwy 127
South this past Saturday, 12/13/2024.
The victim in this case, an adult male, remains hospitalized in
serious but stable condition.
The suspect, Chandler Montgomery Jackson, is wanted for one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon
with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. Jackson, 25, also a Mtn View resident has not been located
as of this release.
Deputies are requesting the publics assistance in locating Jackson. Anyone with
knowledge of Jackson’s whereabouts and or information about this case is asked to contact the Catawba
