On January 7, 2025, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, United States Marshals Service, US Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force and the NC Department of Prisons State K-9 conducted a joint operation which focused on locating and arresting Felony Offenders in Burke County. This round-up targeted individuals with extensive criminal records. Agents and investigators were able to arrest 11 total offenders in a one-day operation.
