The Lenoir NC Small Business Collective, a loosely associated group of local businesses, has announced that its 2025 downtown passports will be available starting Feb. 1 at all participating businesses and running until the 28th. The passport program was developed by the collective as a way to involve its customers, share customers with one another, and holistically promoting the health of the downtown Lenoir economy.
“Downtown Lenoir Small Business is launching its second Small Business Passport Program!” read a press release from Rebecca Phillips of MoonJoy Meadery. “From February 1st to 28th, residents and visitors are encouraged to embark on a journey of discovery, exploring the vibrant local businesses that make Downtown Lenoir so special.”
Philips said that this second annual program was developed and paid for by the collective, rather than the city of Lenoir, as a way to help involve and pay back its customers for their loyalty and patronage.
“We would not exist without them,” Phillips said.
- Obtain Your Passport: Pick up a free passport booklet from any participating business.
- Collect Stamps: Visit participating shops, restaurants, and more! With each purchase, collect a stamp in your passport booklet.
- Complete Your Journey: Collect at least 15 out of 22 possible stamps.
- Enter the Raffle: Return your completed passport to Brews and Mews Cat Cafe, Moonjoy Meadery, or Liquid Roots Brewing Project for a chance to win.
Once the passports have been turned in, participants are entered into a raffle to win a gift basket featuring gift cards donated from various downtown businesses. Each basket is valued at more than $200, Phillips said.
“This program is a testament to Downtown Lenoir businesses’ appreciation for their loyal community. Explore the unique offerings of Downtown Lenoir, support local businesses, and win amazing prizes!,” said the release.
