Runaway Juvenile – Public Assistance Requested
The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a runaway juvenile.
Name: Jayda Marie Shinn
Age: 15
Description: white female, 5’1″, 85lbs, black hair(may be colored blue), brown eyes
Last Seen: March 7th, 2025 @ 1240 hrs at South Caldwell High School.
Anyone with information on Shinn’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office at 828-758-2324, Crimestoppers 758-8300, or call 911.
Sheriff Kevin Bean would like to remind the public that it is a crime to assist or harbor a runaway juvenile. Under North Carolina law, anyone who knowingly aids, encourages, or hides a runaway minor WILL face legal consequences.
