A Conover man accused of stabbing his wife multiple times over the weekend (Saturday 05/17) made his first appearance in court yesterday. 58-year-old Jonathan Leslie Blackburn is charged with First Degree Attempted Murder and First Degree Kidnapping he’s being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under no bond. The unidentified female victim remains in an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
