Walk Against Elder Abuse

Adult Services MDT is hosting a Walk against Elder Abuse. We would like to extend an invitation to everyone to join us in walking together to demonstrate that Caldwell County is taking a stand against elder abuse.
The date of the walk is June 21, 2025
Where: Granite Falls Rec
Time: 11am to 1pm
Cost: 10 dollars to walk. If you pay your 10 dollars before June 5, 2025, you will receive a Caldwell County WEAAD (World Elder Abuse Awareness Day) shirt with local sponsors.
We will have booths on site to give out resources and information to people who attend on how they can prevent Elder Abuse and the supports we have in the community.

All proceeds will go to the Will Wakefield Adult Services fund at Caldwell County DSS to help with our citizens that have or are experiencing abuse, neglect or exploitation.
