Cecil Ray Traylor Jr and Tara Melinda Jackson made their first appearance in Catawba County District in connection with the death of David Mize. Both were denied bond and will remain in the Catawba County Detention Center.
David Faherty with WSOC reports that Traylor and Jackson went back to the home after the murder on several occasions, then to move his body days after the homicide.
Traylor and Jackson have been charged with the murder of Mize, who’s body was located in the trunk of his vehicle at a Caldwell County wrecker service.
