Happy Valley Jamboree

The Happy Valley Jamboree, held annually each Labor Day weekend, will take place August 29-31 at the Jones Family Farm on Highway 268 along the beautiful Yadkin River. The free event will begin Friday at 7 PM with homespun music, cake walks, and a joke contest and will continue Saturday with Junior Appalachian Musicians showcases, children’s activities, a cow calling contest, a dance workshop, slow jams, ballad swaps, and an open category competition. Sunday events include an old-time community gospel sing at 10 AM and afternoon concerts with William Ritter and Sarah Ogletree, Branson Raines, Strictly Clean and Decent, and Zoe and Cloyd. Primitive camping is available, and food trucks will be onsite all weekend. Bring a chair and your instruments and come join the fun.
